Biography

Dennis is Research Fellow at Tegemeo Institute and holds aPhD in Agricultural Economics and Resource Management fromMoi University,Eldoret,Kenya.I was partof Tegemeo Institutes research team for 4 years (2 year contract period in a USAID project) whereI was playing key roles indesigning and execution of household surveys,analysis of cross sectional and panel data.

I have conducted research in irrigation,adoption of CA and good agricultural Practices,costpf food production,production trade off sat house hold level,factor use efficiency,Land access and youth migration and project evaluations.My tenacious and proactive approach in research has resulted in anumber of important studies and publications by the Institute and in refereed journals. Further,my over 19 years workexperience both at theUniversity,Tegemeo and as a consultant provides him with critical skills to handle new challenges in agriculture sector research and evaluations using my meticulous attention to detail in a friendly and professional manner.

I have good networkingskills and a member of professional associations such as IAAE through which the Institute gets vital client leads and partnership linkages. Such networks are key to developing  and improving stakeholder relationship in Policy research as well as expanding the Institutes businesses.
